Society, conference, and forthcoming yearbook

An international society bringing together researchers working on atmosphere across disciplines and cultures.

I am helping establish the Society for Atmospheric Studies and co-organizing its inaugural conference in Kobe.

My responsibilities include the society’s website and conference pages. I am also managing editor of its forthcoming yearbook, Atmosphaerica.

My research within this field connects poetry and philosophy across European and Japanese traditions, including the relationship between breath, atmosphere, and poetic form.
