KI-reji: Kireji (切れ字) and Caesura as Atmospheric Markers — Towards an Intercultural and Ecocritical Understanding of Poetry

A research project comparing cutting words and caesuras as ways poetry opens onto breath and atmosphere.

The project brings Japanese and European poetic forms into conversation through philosophy and ecocriticism. Its Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellowship proposal received a score of 95% and a Seal of Excellence, but was not funded.
